|Welcome ... we are thrilled to announce that Birmingham Bed & Breakfast is now
Casa Bella Inn.
We are the same lovely property, centrally located in the Valley of the Moon. Established in 1913 as the Monroe Ranch, the Inn is also an official Historic Landmark which enjoys a loyal following. In the spring of 2014 a new vision of the Inn and its prime location near Kenwood village and along the central vein of the wine country, Highway 12, is ushering in a new era of modern, comfortable and elegant accommodations.
Sit on the wrap around porch by our outdoor fireplace and gaze out at the beautiful vineyards and Mayacamas Mountains. Stroll through two acres, featuring fruit and nut trees, berry patch and vegetable and flower gardens. Take a few reflective moments to walk our heart-shaped labyrinth - truly a relaxing experience.
Enjoy simple pleasures away from home, from playing on our bocce court, to lounging in guest cabanas or taking a jacuzzi on our Veranda del Sole, or simply retreating in our living room all the while connected with our complimentary laptop and free WiFi. Indulge in our growing menu of spa amenities, including various types of massage and body treatments, or let us help you create a memorable and personalized Valley of the Moon tour, complete with a wicker picnic basket filled with culinary goodies.
The Inn features a combination of rooms, suites and a separate cottage, which keeps our site intimate and uncomplicated. Inside, the Inn is centrally air-conditioned and heated. Outside, private and easily accessible parking is available to all guests. The 1,000 square foot Bella Luna cottage on the property is also available and has central heating, A/C, a well-stocked kitchen, fireplace, television, large private patio, and many other amenities designed for couples or families. Bella Luna is also pet-friendly.
Inn guests enjoy a full gourmet breakfast using locally-grown produce in our cheery dining room. Much of the produce and herbs come from our own garden. And our best kept secret is Chef Leslie, who treats our guests daily with a delectable selection of pastries.
The Valley of the Moon, coined by the indigenous coastal people of California, covers the Kenwood, Sonoma and Glen Ellen stretch, and at its heart is the Casa Bella Inn. Join us, see and experience the beauty for yourselves.
